A native of Charleston, Milton Johns is a retired bingo promoter (Bingo @ Augusta Road – Terrace Shopping Center) and currently resides in Simpsonville, SC. His previous employment was in sales positions with Travelers Insurance, Dow Chemical, and Milliken.

Mr. Johns attended Clemson University, graduated from The Citadel, and served two years in the Army in the 1950s. He and his wife, who will soon celebrate 50 years of marriage, have three children (one deceased, two adult sons). Mr. Johns is active in Messiah Lutheran Church where he served on the Church Board for six years. He is the VP of the Golden Seniors Bowling League, tutors children at Plain Elementary, and coordinates a Diabetic Support Group.
